Transform coordinates

Move results between reference frames, datums, and projections with Axis.

When to use this

Your solution is in a global frame and the deliverable needs a national or project system, or a client hands you coordinates in a system your tools do not speak.

Steps

  1. Open Axis and enter a single point, paste a batch, or pick the point on the map.
  2. Choose source and target systems: presets for common frames, or search the full EPSG registry.
  3. Transform and copy or export the result. Every transform is saved to your history and can be re-run.

Traceability

The result view shows the transformation path used, so a reviewer can verify exactly how a coordinate was derived. History keeps the request and response together for that reason.
